HOME INSPECTIONS

• Many factors go into quoting a price for a home inspection.  Age, square footage, number of bathrooms, bedrooms, garage?  in- law apartment?,  etc. all factor in.  We need this information to give you a firm quote.  We do not give you a low advertised base price then tack on for additional baths, rooms, crawlspaces, travel, etc. 

• Do we cost more? In many cases yes. However our clients get exceptional value for their hard earned money.   We typically spend 2-4 hours on site with you (it's highly encouraged you be present if at all possible), then another 3 hours or more formulating the most detailed and resourceful inspection report in our service area.  So is $25-$100 more worth it for a Covered Bridge Professional Inspection?  We certainly think so.  Don't gamble with uninsured low cost inspections, too much is on the line.  We are not low cost, high volume. We are  high quality with moderate pricing. Please see "Sample Reports " tab.
  
• Our goal is to give you advice, information and tips about the home that will pay for the inspection in the first few months. You will get an excellent return on investment. 

• We do not charge extra for travel, either we service the area or we do not.

•  Please call for Bed & Breakfast, Multi-Unit and Commercial inspection quotes.
  

WATER TESTING

We conduct full scale water testing, whatever your looking for.

* Potability test, E Coli and coliform bacteria testing.
* Comprehensive water testing includes the following; E Coli , coliform bacteria, radon in water, pH, hardness, nitrate, nitrite, chloride, calcium, sodium, iron, manganese, magnesium, fluoride, copper, lead and arsenic.
* Gross Alpha radiation,  please note and approximate two week lead time for results.
* Radon in water.
* Other water tests are available upon request, including VOC's.

RADON MONITORING

* We use professional electronic radon monitoring machines with tampering features, not the typical charcoal cannisters.
* We are Certified by the National Radon Safety Board # 5SS0032 as Measurement Specialists.
* We conduct 100% chain of custody testing of the radon content in the home per EPA protocols.  Ensuring our clients of a test they can have confidence in.  We do not rely on clients, owners or Realtors to complete the test, we conduct the test from A to Z (the way it should be done).
* We conduct clearing for professional mitigators and environmental companies after they have installed radon mitigation systems. Our high tech monitors with graphs are preferred by these organizations.
